The “Love Triangle Series” is a unique group of paintings that Simon created in 1999-2000.  The series is not only unique in style and composition, but carries a story line from one painting to the next. In the order displayed below, the paintings tell a tale that stretches from the innocence of birth to a grown-up world of betrayal and infidelities. The series ends in a tragedy leading to murder and suicide. Although a story weaves through the series, with many questions left unanswered, the paintings can be viewed individually and tell an even larger story of their own.
